Get Confident With Manual Mode
Learning manual mode is the first step into learning photography and taking your photos to the next level while having control over your camera. These skills allow you to perform creative techniques and change the exposure in your camera that auto mode does not offer. In Photo 201, we give our students a refresh from what they learned in Photo 101 and ensure they are confident using manual mode.
Advanced Camera Settings
On top of manual mode, many other settings can affect your photographs and can cause you trouble in difficult lighting situations. Things like custom white balance, focusing modes, exposure lock, and so much more are all taught in Photo 201 and teach you how to capture photos in any location or lighting!

Explore Bokeh
Bokeh is a technique used by filmmakers, photographers and videographers all over the world and is an important skill to learn on the path to being a pro photographer. Bokeh gives a whimsical and colourful feel to backgrounds as well as a breathtaking element in photographs of nightlife and city lights.
How To Handel Tricky Lighting Situations
Lighting can be hard to get a grasp of, as the same settings won’t work in all different lighting situations. From low lit gyms, concert lighting, direct sunlight, to temperatures of indoor/outdoor lighting and fluorescents can all change the look and quality of the image. Photo 201 is there to help you understand your camera and what settings to use in situations like these, so nothing is holding you back!
