We were delighted to be nominated as one of the top 10 best Photography classes in Toronto by BlogTo!
Our feedback shows that our hands-on approach to teaching really does help students to grasp tough concepts and start on their road to a career as a professional or passionate hobbyist photographer.
Here’s what sets us apart:
1.Hands-on practice
There’s no use in throwing a ton of information at students, then sending them home to try to practice on their own. That would only harbour confusion and frustration on the part of the student. We’ve created a curriculum with equal parts theory and practice, so that students feel confident and ready to capture the world in manual mode!
2. Small class sizes
At a maximum of 10 students per class, our instructors are able to give students the one-on-one time that they need, answering questions and concerns as they arise. Our priority is to make sure every student leaves each class with a firm understanding of the content, and we guarantee that by checking in with each student and addressing their individual questions.
3. Knowledgable instructors who work in the field
Being a good photographer and a good teacher is a very hard quality to find in a person – something that Ana Belic, the owner of GTA Photography Classes, knows all too well after many interviews. Our selectivity in our instructors is what makes our programs so successful. Our staff not only know how to describe complicated concepts clearly, they know it from experience. From practicing artists to accomplished food photographers – our staff know a good photo when they see it, and they want to help get you there!
