Wedding Season is Here!
As the biggest city in Toronto, thousands of weddings happen here every year. With so much competition, it can be hard to find a unique venue for wedding photos that hasn’t been done a million times. Whether you hire a professional photographer, are taking wedding photos for a friend, or need some wedding inspiration in general, here’s our list in of our top 9 wedding photo spots in Toronto.
#8 Allan Gardens Conservatory
Getting married in the winter? This is the ideal indoor destination that will make you feel like it’s the middle of summer. There are flowers and greenery everywhere and it allows for great photo ops. The conservatory does require a permit for wedding photography but with so many beautiful plants, the cost is worth it.

#7 Osgoode Hall
If you are looking for gorgeous outdoor architecture, Osgoode Hall may be the venue for you. Indoor photography is prohibited within the property but the hall has so much to offer outdoors. With grand pillars, wide stairs, and beautiful symmetry everywhere, this is an ideal venue for couples who appreciate Toronto heritage and wish for a more vintage feel in their photos.

#6 Toronto Music Garden
This garden was created by famous cellist Yo Yo Ma as a tribute to Bach’s Suite No 1 in G Major. It’s a beautiful garden featuring several music motifs throughout as well as stunning displays of greenery. The music garden features an iconic pavilion and several different sections for a variety of shots. The garden as a Toronto park requires a permit for formal photography.

#5 Distillery District
Stepping into the Distillery District is like tearing a page out of history. There’s a reason that this iconic venue is a National Historic Site. The District has the vintage feel in much of its architecture from its brick buildings to the famous lamp post. The Distillery District does require that you buy a permit from them if you are doing any kind of photo shoot but luckily you can join us for a photo tour and get a feel of the district.

#4 Art Gallery of Ontario
Renowned for their art, the Art Gallery of Ontario is also an architectural wonder. Filled with leading lines and other artistic features, the AGO offers a great opportunity to take pictures in one of the most beautiful buildings in Toronto. The museum does require that you have a permit but they will section off part of the building for you. If you and your significant other love Toronto architecture and art, the AGO may be the right photo shoot location for you.

#3 Graffiti Alley
Full of colour and a variety of artwork, Grafitti Alley is an ideal location for quirky couples who want a pop of colour in their shots. With so much art to choose from, the variety alone is the perfect reason to choose graffiti alley as your photo shoot location. Graffiti Alley is a public venue so no permits are required for professional or amateur photo shoots.

#2 Belfountain Conservation Area
Located in Caledon, this park is worth the commute from Toronto. It features a full forest, several waterfalls, and the famous suspension bridge. This is a terrific spot for couples that love nature and want more natural feeling photos. Belfountain requires that professional photographers have a permit to take pictures in the park but hobby photographers don’t need one.

#1 Casa Loma
Casa Loma is Toronto’s most famous castle and is the perfect spot for fairy tale photos. For those looking for big and dramatic, Casa Loma is a great place to go. Though the spot is still open to the public during any photo shoots, the shots that you will get will be worth it.  Keep in mind that Casa Loma does require a permit for you to take pictures there along with a fee that Casa Loma charges for use of their grounds in photos.
