Right in the heart of Queens St East, the Beaches is a small Toronto neighbourhood. The Beaches gets its name from the four beaches that make up this small, summer loving community. Perfect for walks along the boardwalk and gorgeous beach landscapes, this is the place to go if you want the feel of a beach town near Downtown Toronto.

The Boardwalk
Stretching across the entire village, the Boardwalk acts as a 3km trail for people to walk, run, and bike across as they gaze out onto Lake Ontario. It’s the perfect spot to snap a waterfront sunset pic while taking a stroll with the family!
Kew Gardens
Kew Gardens is a park located in the Beaches village, right off the popular Martin Goodman Trail. THere are tennis courts and baseball diamonds within this park, along with a park for kids to play. It also hosts an off-leash area for dogs. The most photographic part of the Gardens however is a building referred to as the Caretaker’s Cottage. This cottage is a display of old school stone architecture as well as the host to a beautiful garden.
Beaches International Jazz Festival
Hosted at the Kew Gardens, the Beaches Jazz Festival happens annually in July. The festival offers music workshops, a streetfest, a Latin music carnival, and an A Capella stage. This festival is a great family friendly, music themed event with endless photo potential.
