Rockcliffe park has a lot of things going for it- trails, connection to a parkway, spectacular lookouts, and a famous pavilion often used for weddings. Thousands of daffodil blossoms are planted there in the spring which means come May, it is a must-see!

Sir George Etienne Parkway
In addition to hiking trails, Rockcliffe offers the connection to the Sir George Etienne Parkway. This allows for everyone to see the beauty of the park without even getting out of the car. The parkway follows the Ottawa River and even goes past the Canada Aviation Museum, perfect to see a variety of sights. This trail is both car and bike accessible.
Rockcliffe Ruins
Scattered throughout the park are several architectural relics, donated by institutions and placed in the park for display. These ruins include pillars from the Carnegie Library and Soper’s fountain, which belonged to a telephone mogul. These ruins are a photography hotspot within the park.
Rockcliffe Park Lookout
This lookout takes place in a gazebo in the middle of the park. As it is elevated and open on all sides, the views are gorgeous. The lookout overlooks water, hills, and in the distance, buildings. It’s a great place to capture tranquil landscapes and sail boat shots in the summer.
