Tucked away in the Don Valley you can find the Evergreen Brick Works, a place that aims to educate the public on building and flourishing a sustainable urban environment. A great example of how new green technology can transform old heritage buildings into a community hub. Here you can explore the grounds through trails, art exhibits and installations, a weekly farmers’ market, festivals and sustainability learning sessions.

Every winter the Brickworks opens up a Winter Village to celebrate the holidays with your friends and family. Here you can find fun winter themed activities, shops, and gourmet fare. Be sure to also check our the Evergreen Garden Market, where you can purchase your holiday tree, home decor items and garden flowers and essentials.
On Saturdays visitors will find a farmers’ market to enjoy and taste foods from 25 local farmers and producers. It is currently one of the largest farmers’ markets in the city, and runs year round, offering a wide variety of seasonal and local foods.
Views of the city don’t get better than this! Take a short walk up the trails around the Brickworks to get unobstructed views of the city and the surrounding nature. Don’t leave your camera at home!
