Have More Fun With Photography
Kids Camp 2 allows campers to take the foundational knowledge from Kids Camp 1 and apply it to more advanced and technical projects. Creative exploration through artistic and one-of-a-kind activities is a big focus for this camp. Campers will be able to learn, and experiment, with black & white images, pet photography and silhouettes. They’ll even have a chance to create their own memes!
“Camp was so much fun and I can take great pictures now!”
– GTA Photography Camper 2017
- How to creatively break rules of composition
- Introduction to advanced techniques and camera settings
- Develop unique self portraits
- Techniques for creating professional black and white images
Break the Rules
Now that campers know the rules, let’s learn how to break them. In this first section of the camp, we’ll show kids new compositional rules and how to master their camera settings to go beyond a proper exposure.
This camp will encourage kids to continue exploring photography as a creative art. They’ll be introduced to more conceptual ideas like creating a photo essay or shooting a self portrait.
More Advanced Techniques
Now that kids know the basics, they’ll be taught even more advanced shooting techniques like how to create black and white images or how to capture silhouettes. They’ll also jump into the world of phone photography by learning some really cool, handy tricks!
