This is my third year at GTA, and I honestly can’t say anything bad about it. The environment is safe and fun and I have made some of my very best friends here. Three years ago I couldn’t operate a camera to save my life, and now it is one of my favourite hobbies. Thanks to all the amazing staff for making this such an amazing place to be 🙂

Learn all the tips and tricks for freezing fast moving subjects and blurring motion! In Explore Sport and Action, campers will get active participating in interactive games, and fun filled demonstrations involving art, water and more! Explore Photo Editing offers our kids campers the opportunity to get creative with photo editing applications, such as Lightroom CC for iPads! Campers will learn the essential photo enhancement techniques necessary to transform ordinary photographs into something extraordinary! Daily field trips will provide campers with the opportunity to capture a variety of images using their DSLR cameras, which they will later get to experiment with during editing periods! Dive into a variety of lifestyle genres including food photography, architectural photography, candid photography and more by visiting local businesses within the heart of Chicago! Create artistic images using digital cameras! In this program, students will discover photography as a tool for creative expression and visit contemporary art galleries for inspiration! Students will have the opportunity to experiment with their creativity and learn the process of professional printing. Expose yourself to the wonders of photo editing! In this program, students will be introduced to two industry leading photography editing softwares: Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Through guided demonstrations, students will learn the key adjustment tools for retoucing and manipulating images within each software.
