You can still learn from our exceptional instructors in a one-on-one, virtual, custom-tailored private lesson. Whether you’re new to photography and need help with camera basics, or you want to know more about a specific skill – our instructors are here for you. Once you’ve requested a lesson, we will match you up with an instructor, and schedule one or a series of lessons depending on your goals. Please contact us for more details.

Virtual Private Photography Lessons
  • All virtual private lessons are conducted on an easy to use software.  Simple and easy, one click to join your lesson.
  • Lessons are available 7 days a week. (Mon – Fri 9am – 9pm, Sat/Sun 10am – 5pm)
  • 1 Hour minimum booking is required

Private lesson curriculums are customized to the student.

Cancellations are non-refundable whether the student cancels or fails to show up for the lesson; however, if we are notified 48 hours prior to the scheduled session, we will reschedule your session, but a $50 administration fee will apply.

1 to 2 Hour Sessions
Manual Mode | Beginner

A great place to start for a beginner. Get to know the camera and learn how to shoot in manual mode.  Aperture, shutter speed, and ISO are explored in-depth, including how they relate to getting those stunning blurry backgrounds and captivating frozen shots. Never used a camera before? Not a problem! We make sure that you know the basics of where to find each camera setting as the lesson progresses.

  • Recommended Time: 2 Hours 
  • Great Addition: Composition (1 Hour Extra)

Composition | Beginner

So you’ve got the technical aspects of manual mode down, but now it’s time to work on the creative side. This composition lesson will present you with key compositional guidelines that help to create more movement, interest, and intrigue in your photographs all with the goal of thinking outside the box.

Key Topics: composition, hands-on practice, analyzing photographs, photo critique

  • Great Addition: Equipment (1 Hour Extra)

1-on-1 Custom Tailored Lessons| Any Level

If your child is looking for specific training in an area or has taken most of our programs and is looking for more; we can tailor our private lessons for your child.  Our Q&A private lesson is a great way to get 1-on-1 time with our professional instructors. Unsure about a function on your camera or wanting to know more about a type of photography this is a great option for you! Here are some great suggestions to do during your session.

Kids & Teens Camp Programs | Virtual Private Lessons

Unfortunately due to Covid-19, we are unable to run any of our Summer Camp programs for the 2020 season. As an alternative, we have provided the option for virtual private lessons with our award-winning instructors. We have selected a few camp programs that we can provide as live virtual lectures and they are listed below.  Below is a list of programs, we can teach in a virtual private lesson with the recommended number of hours required to cover the lectures:

Each of the online video lecture take place on an interactive video meeting platform – Zoom. Upon registration you’ll receive a password and meeting ID to join your lecture. There, you’ll meet your instructor and go over the content you have chosen to learn. Each lesson is interactive and questions are encouraged.
