Mother’s day is this Sunday and it’s a well known fact that moms love pictures of their kids. Whether they’re in frames, on the fridge or wedged somewhere in the depths of their wallets; mom’s are always proud to show off photos of their families. So why not get creative this year and do something a little different with your gift? Here are a few really great photo projects to show your mom how much you love her!
1. Re-enact an old photo: find your favourite old photo and grab your siblings to recreate it. Put them side by side in a frame to give your mom a really sweet before and after shot.

2. Make a creative greeting card: write your message out on a piece of paper or chalkboard and photograph family member’s holding the sign. Better yet, round up the kids and get them to spell out “MOM” by making the shapes themselves.

3. Recycle something by turning it into a one-of-a-kind photo display: old mason jars, vintage window panes, empty CD cases, paper lanterns…all these things can be turned into unusual displays for pictures and collages.

4. Frame within a frame: a great idea for great grandmothers and grandmothers! Take photos of different generations holding a framed picture of the generations after them (i.e Grandma holds picture of her daughter who’s holding a picture of her daughter…etc.)
