Learn more about this young photographer and how photography is apart of their life…
What is your favourite type of photography?
I love taking pictures of objects and nature.
What inspired you to start taking photos?
I always loved painting but never felt like I was good enough to convey the thoughts and feelings I wanted to. When I discovered photography, I realized I could do just that, and I began taking pictures of my extremely photogenic pets. After this, I started realizing I could tell stories through my photography, which is something I love to do, as I also love creative writing.
What camp program/s did you take last year and where?
Teen Camp 1 and Teen Camp 2 in Toronto.
Do you plan on doing camp this summer? If so, what do you look forward to?
Yes! I can’t wait to take fashion camp now that I have learned the foundations of taking a photo. I have always loved fashion and can’t wait to learn how the pros do it.
What is your favourite location to shoot?
Anywhere with sunshine!!
What type of photography are you wanting to learn more about?
Macro or Close up photography.
What advice would you give to a beginner photographer?
Don’t try to take pictures based on what everyone else is doing. Let your creativity take over, and express yourself through your photos.
What are three things you want to do this summer?
Take lots more photos, read, and relax.
If you could get on a plane right now, where would you go?
Just so we can find out a bit more about the person behind the lens, could you tell us…
What is your favourite movie? A Dog’s Purpose.
If you could only eat one type of food for the rest of your life what would it be? Mashed potatoes!
