We are looking for an Administrative Assistant on a full time temporary contract to permanent position.
Role:
•Full time (temp contract to permanent)
•Regular office hours (M-F / 9 am – 5 pm)
Pay Rate:
$10 – $13
Responsibilities include:
•Online updates and maintenance of website, blog, forum, social networking,etc
•Provide general administrative support to owner
•Input registration transactions using credit, cash or cheques
•Maintain a registration database of over 500 students
•Professionally respond to customer inquiries over the phone, email and in the studio
•Maintain calendars and schedules
•Manage the ordering of office supplies
•Help with the organization of special events (exhibits, competitions, etc)
•Perform basic accounting using Quick Books accounting software
•Other duties and special projects as required
Required qualifications/skills/experience:
•Reliable and professional
•Self starter with demonstrated administrative skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) & general internet
•Positive attitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work both independently and in a team
