Shooting in studio can be a very fun and exciting experience, but before you book anything you really need to look into your options and find the space that works best for you! Depending on what kind of pictures you plan on taking, you’re probably going to be interested in different features that a studio might have. To help you narrow down your options, today we’re sharing some of our favourite photography studios to rent in Toronto!
Mint Room Studios
Mint Room has some really unique themed spaces! There are six to choose from and each one has a different look! From the Ballroom to the Library, this studio caters very well to photographers who look for inspiration in beautiful spaces.
Cost: $90/per hour
Hours: 8am – 8pm daily

Studio 405 is a new studio on the rise with a really great big windows that allows for gorgeous lighting and a price point that can’t be beat! With a variety of props and amenities, Studio 405 has everything you need for a great shoot.
Cost: $50/per hour, minimum 2 hours

THAT Toronto Studio
This studio has an abundance of natural light and huge south-facing windows! To play around with and adjust light, there are also sheer diffusing curtains and blackout drapes ready for your use. On the complete opposite side of natural light, THAT also has some awesome blue neon lights!

Natural light and 14 foot high ceilings! What more could you need? At Studio 202, you’ll be more than happy with the space you’re getting. A great spot for fashion, product, food and editorial photography!

Inkast Studio is a very bright and open space! The studio is 1000 sqft and is very versatile for any shoot. They have 26 shades of seamless paper backdrops for your use.

Hours: Weekdays 9am – 9pm, Saturday 10am – 9pm and Sunday 10am – 7pm

Album has three great spaces to choose from at different sizes with different features and different price points. With that variety, you’ll be able to find a space thats perfect for your shoot. Studio A even has heated floors!

Working Proof Studio
This boutique studio has high ceilings and a 21×30 shooting area that comes with a modern bathroom and kitchen. They’ve got a makeup station, change rooms and garments racks, perfect for your fashion shoot.
Cost: $400 for 8 hours
Hours: 9am – 9pm Weekdays, 10am – 9pm Saturday, 11am – 9pm Sunday

This studio has a private terrace and west-facing daylight. Not to mention an in-house cafe open to all clients. Definitely a good idea if you need some coffee to keep you going through your shoot!

One of our favourite studios! Our friends at AstroLab have a really awesome space for all kinds of creators! They accommodate not only photography, but also film and music. This space features two sound stages at 2789 sqft and 1800 sqft!
