Having a spot that you can remove yourself from distractions and get you into the mindset of learning is key for success for online classes. Many things within your household can distract you, this will help keep you on track and focused on the task at hand.

2. Laptop/Computer/TabletÂ
With online courses, you will need something that will allow you to partake in the class, whether it be a zoom call or a prerecorded session. A laptop, desktop or tablet should work perfectly.
3. NotepadÂ
Having a note pad or a word document open is a great idea to take notes throughout the class. Try bullet noting the points that you think are important or something the teacher has pointed out. Doing this will also keep you focused on your class.

A printer or scanner can come in handy for printing off the presentation, practice sheets, class notes, saving documents to your computer and much more. If you or your child is a visual or hands-on learner this is great as it gives you the option of having something physical in front of you.

Headphones are a great idea for online classes as it helps you fully immerse into the virtual classroom. With noise-cancelling it removes the distractions of your household and allowing you to hear the teacher or instructor better.

Staring at a screen for a long time can be hard on your eyes and can cause headaches or a hard time focusing afterwards. This is where blue light glasses come in handy, these reduce the about of blue light reaching your eyes and blocks the light through the glasses. You can buy these online or get them from an eyeglasses store.

Keeping your desk organized is great to keep you motivated and wanting to learn more, as well as easier to keep track of everything with a desk organizer.
